Hello Kumush,

There are currently no issues with the Paid Name Change service that we are aware of. It may indeed be that your browser has issues with processing the website or that the payment method you are using is not being accepted which causes an error. I'd suggest that apart from trying a different browser you also try to remove your cookies and temporary browser files and see if that makes a difference.

From what I can see on your account, it seems everything is in order.

I'd recommend that you contact our Account and Payment Support directly for assistance with the paid services and they might be able to assist you further with this problem.

Dear whom it may concern,

For the last few days I have been trying to rename my goblin shaman from Kumush to something else (since if you shorten Kumush… you get the idea, and it's not really appealing to see/hear «kum here» in raids).

Anyway, this is the problem that I keep getting. I contacted Blizzard Support via email, and got a ridiculous reply to say at the least. I tried to do it on 2 different computers, both times with Mozilla Firefox at first, then Internet Explorer. The same outcome happens every time. When I get to the credit card details, and have filled it all out, and pressed process order. What happens is, I get a peon that runs around animation, then it's immediately a blank white page. This is on both browsers, and on both computers.

I then press enter on the address bar, and it tells me that it has failed, and that it'll be holding the name I wanted to change to for 90 minutes, and that I should try again. When I did within 90minutes, the name is unavailable so I waited over 90minutes since the failed attempt to try again, but there is the problem. I want to pay £6.00 to change my goblin shaman's name, but the PCNC system is failing each time.

The response I got from Blizzard's customer service was basically «Try a different browser, like Mozilla Firefox» when I've clearly stated that I have tried using two different browsers in the original support ticket. So it's a little bit disappointing to see a response like that. I am wondering if there's a glitch in the system that Blizzard is unaware of when it comes to new races like say, goblins and worgen renaming after a faction change/race change? Since my shaman was originally a dwarf.

I look forward to hearing a credible response to this from Blizzard's GMs or CMs regarding this issue.

If you have contacted the bank already and they did not provide you with a solution and you'd like to consult our side again, please contact the Account and Billing support and explain the additional steps you have taken since the last conversation.
