Hi,

I'm experiencing random computer freez/hang. Sometimes I can play for 5 hours without any problems, sometimes computer freezes after 15 minutes with display frozen and looped sound in the background and I must do a hard reset. Problems with computer freez/hang happen only while playing WoW. Other games run smoothly.

I observed that computer is more likely to hang while my pings are very high, what happens very often lately.

My computer is Toshiba A500 with NVidia 310M card (Windows 7 64). I've already updated all my drivers, do a fresh install of Windows 7 and tested for overheating with graphics stress test app for about 10 hours.

What else can I do to avoid this hangs?

Hi,

High latency should lead to a hard–lock, that would only happen if hardware is failing. As you mentioned that it happens when you see high latency it might be a good idea to check that you've updated and drivers for your network hardware, ideally from the manufacture of that hardware.

And have you checked that all your drivers are up–to–date?
