Ok so last night I tried to transfer my character from The Venture Co Eu to Defias Brotherhood EU. Last night it was pending so went to bed expecting it to be complete this morning, which it was according to the following email:

Tried to log into DB on my new character and it advised me the transfer wasn't complete (much to my surprise!), so I went to my home server to chill out a little and sort out a plan of action and it seems my character (that was supposed to be transferred) was there too so I basically had two characters, locked for transfer despite the fact I'd recieved the completion e–mail.

Decided to check the transfer status page, turns out it was still pending, and there was a note basically saying 'don't ticket us, watch your email for updates on the transfer', and well, since I'd already received my e–mail my only other option was to cancel, so I cancelled.

Now I'm out £15.00 for the transfer despite not having the transfer completed I kinda want to know where I stand about getting the transfer actioned or what my course of action should be?

[edit] Oh yeah, also posting from the character that apparently successfully transferred.

Hi,

As mentioned transfers can take upto 3 days, your transfer will go through and you will only be charged once the process is completed.

Hi,

Money will only be taken from your account when the transfer is completed, normally what happens when you request a paid service is that your bank will reserve the amount requested while we verify your details.

Once those details are verified, your transfers is completed will you be charged at which time Blizzard will physically take the money.

If you have canceled the transfer before completion you will not have been charged and you would normally need to wait till the bank releases the reserved amount back into your account.
