Hey there,

Recently moved to Silvermoon but the lag and queues there are driving me wild. Noticed a free transfer to Kilrogg opened. When I go into account it tells me 'no characters are eligible for transfer'. Any ideas why?

We have an issue with the Free Character Migration system right now and the Battle.net team are working on it. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused, we appreciate how eager you guys are to get to your new realms.

The issue with the Free Character Migrations is still being looked into, I'm afraid there is still no ETA on a fix. When there is more information we'll update again.

Just because something is free does not mean it should be prioritized last

No–one is saying it's prioritised last, this issue has been escalated quite high and is marked high importance, it's just taking longer than we hoped to resolve.

Secondly, confirm that the FCM designations will be continuing after the FCM is fixed

This is not a decision related to support unfortunately, so I cannot comment on this — if this is announced then it'll be announced here:

Thirdly, let us please use the working paid CM and refund the fee if the migration is between FCM eligible realms.

I'm sorry I just don't get this — you can't do something for free right now because of an issue, so you're going to pay for it instead? Just wait until we've got it fixed, then see what we're able to do to help out in getting you transferred. I know it's frustrating having to wait but please, let us do our work, then we'll let you know what we can do to help.

5.4 has come out to just sit there and wait people pay u money they expect an answer.

No — read what I said again. I'm saying not to pay. I'm saying don't use a paid workaround while we're still working on the free one. I'm also not saying you shouldn't ask for updates — that's obviously fine and we're updating you when we get info.

And despite what it may seem — they're not copied and pasted from anywhere. I type all this out every time, just we don't have any further updates just yet so the content will be similar. Sorry for any misconceptions this has caused.

Sorry, as you can see today's had a fair few other issues crop up so I haven't been able to reply to you until now. Unfortunately I don't have anything further to share with you just yet, but please don't take a lack of replies as inaction or inattentiveness to the issue.

All I can say right now is that it is still being worked on and as soon as we have more info we'll let you know, and it'll also be posted in the main Free Character Migration sticky, here:

Sorry — we had an issue with the website/Armory that meant no–one was able to log in. But that, the disconnections and the character migration issues *should* all be resolved now.
