Hello. I just reformatted my computer and I'm downloading wow. Only problem is it's downloading at 200–250kb/s and my connection caps at 1.8mbs. Why is it going SO slow, any ideas? I wouldn't complain if it wasn't so big but it's 9G. Thanks.

It sounds like there may be firewalls on your system that are blocking the download.

Make sure that all of your firewalls are properly configured to allow the download. That will include the Windows firewall, the router firewall, security software firewall, and potentially a firewall on your modem as well. http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US{_amp_}articleId=21072

To help narrow down which firewall is causing the issue, I would recommend that you bypass your router temporarily to see if the problem is resolved.

Otherwise, please be aware that many firewalls will continue to function even when «disabled» and that some ISPs will throttle certain types of internet traffic.
