Here is the situation for me. On suggestion of a friend I started a trial account for WoW. I did enjoy the game and decided to buy it.

When I was about to activate the game, my friend suggested that we use the 'Recruit a friend' feature so that we can use its rewards. RaF required that i create a new 'WoW' account, so I went ahead and did it and am enjoying the game.

Now my question is this, whenever I log in to WoW I get a list of 2 accounts to select from one is the orginial trial account that I started and the other is the account which I used for RaF and having a valid subscription. How do I get rid of the trial account from my battle.net account so that I dont have to select a account everytime I log into

Welcome to the game, Gwaeana, I'm glad that you enjoyed it enough to join us.

As Ferkus mentioned you can either contact Billing or even our In–Game Support staff. They should be able to remove the trial for you.

So will it help if I post in that forum?

It may but the main duty for those that post in the Technical Support forum are to assist with Technical Support issues.

You can simply submit an in–game petition to request that the trial account be removed.

Click on the red question mark located in the lower right corner of your screen while you are in–game. Select Submit a Ticket and just say something like : I have a trial account I would like removed from my Battle.net account.

A Game Master will look into your request and either contact you in–game or via e–mail with the results. You may also e–mail wowgm@blizzard.com if you want to go that way. I believe those are the best and more hoopless options.
