My previous guild <Apotheosis>, which I still have a character in is no longer active and no one logs in there for any long period of time. The guild leader has not logged on her character in over a month. We would like to retrieve the guild funds from the guild bank, but we are unsure what will happen if we ask a game master to intervene. The only officer that hasn't quit and logged in somewhat recently (5 days ago) we've never heard from, and the rest of the guild that logs on is mostly just alts.

What is the policy in changing ownership, or simply distributing the funds within the guild bank under these circumstances? I don't want to ask a GM to give ownership to a player who logged in once, and would have to wait another month to change it again.

The best thing to do in this case, Fallenchaos, would be to open an in game petition to request the leadership of the guild be transferred. Provide as much information in your ticket as you possibly can (what you posted here is fine). A Game Master will then research the guild itself and promote a replacement if able.
