Thanks, problem solved. Turns out there was old mail lying around, after all. And I was sure I had gotten rid of it. Sorry for the bother.
No bother, Mordraith. Glad you were able to clear the mail out yourself.
Yes, your account name is no longer relevant since the introduction of the Battle.net system as you use your Battle.net/E–mail address to log in. Any new account created on your Battle.net account will be given the tag WOW1, WOW2, etc….
I created a secondary account, using the same account name, owner name and email address as my main account.
The second account was recruited using the recruit a friend program and is currently linked to my main account.
The second account has also been fully upgraded to cataclysm.
I am trying to transfer a character (lev 49 hunter) from the main account to the secondary account. The target character has no ongoing auctions, no mail in transit or in the box, and is not part of a guild.
However, I keep receiving an error message (empty your mail/auctions error message) and can't seem to get the transfer off.
Anybody can help with this? Is it because the account is still considered in trial, even tough it's been fully upgraded?
Character name is Catheryna. Leaving the Sentinels (RP) realm and heading to Mug'thol (PvP).
(Also, am I stuck with Wow1 as the name of this account?)
