Can you post some computer information from the Direct X Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag)?

 • Hit the Windows key + R
 • Type in:
 • dxdiag
 • Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and Save a DxDiag text file.

Copy and paste everything from this section:

------------------ System Information ------------------

and everything in between, to this section:

-------------- System Devices --------------

Paste everything into the post, highlight everything, and hit the «pre» button (It says «Code Blocks» when you hover your mouse over it).

I AM able to log into characters using WoWTunnels. This is not an acceptable alternative.

I was assuming you meant Blue Screen of Death when you said BBoD. What did you mean by BBoD?

Have you talked to your university about playing Wow on their network? Have they heard of other students having trouble playing WoW through their network?

I'd still talk to them about playing WoW on their network. Chances are, they're de–prioritizing computer gaming traffic.

BBoD refers to the Blue Bar of death: you click to load into the world, get a full loading bar, then crash back to login. There was a couple hundred page topic about it here a few weeks ago.

It was apparently fixed in 4.0.6, but today i am suffering from the same symptoms. Up until 4.0.6, no one on the university campus could log into wow normally. Since, no one has had problems that I have heard of.

Let's see what a trace route looks like:

That looks good. Any chance you could try connecting from a neighbor's connection or wall port or have someone else connect their computer to your connection or wall port, and try logging in WoW?
