Tarja,

A few causes could include:

Overheating inside, defective power supply, loose power cord, defective power strip if one is being used.

When you start the pc back up, does Windows display a message about it being shut down incorrectly? It should. If it doesn't, it may be a sleep mode kicking in that's not working right.

I've been having the weirdest problem lately. My PC has randomly shut off at least a few dozen times in the past couple weeks, but it ONLY happens if (A) I am logged into WoW and I'm sitting still not doing anything

I've raided for hours in a row with no problems whatsoever, but as soon as I walk away from my pc for 10 minutes without exiting WoW, my entire PC shuts off instantly with no warning at all (similar to if you pulled the power cord)

Anyone have a clue what could cause that? Obviously something is wrong with my PC but I don't even know where to start
